Due to the spaces authentic character we do not recommend it for the disabled, seniors or children under the age of 8. Due to uneven flooring, narrow stairs to the loft bedroom, loft height, bathroom location and large display shelving in the retail area.

It has one wood floor loft bedroom with a queen size bed and one twin size banco/bench that converts into a bed. This banco has a custom hemp covered, 2" high density, 100% natural rubber mattress that has been rated for sleep standards for boats and benches. Also please note that the loft does not have a dresser or a closet. Instead luggage racks are conveniently placed in the loft as well as by the bathroom. Where there is a closet for your use. Please pack accordingly, weekend soft bags for loft and hard luggage for the bathroom area. Finally, by the back dance studio is a King size mobile floor couch/pad that folds out to a bed.  Its fun for moving around the house to mega lounge in front of the theatre, Kiva fire place or for that extra guest.

The one double shower bathroom is situated in the main part of the house due to the original layout of the historical home. Providing easy access for all guests. In addition there are two more showers and two claw tubs outside in the latilla fence back lounge area. An outdoor 5 seasonal delight enhanced by a visionary graffiti wall, metal art and natural landscaping. Our 5th season being the monsoon time, a fresh cool down during the month of July.

Inside there are two fire places, both antiques and plenty of wood for your use. Provided, are cast iron pans for cooking on the gas stove as well as for cooking in the fire places themselves. A fun and romantic experience that really adds to the rustic country charm of the casita.

My wife and I spent our 10-year anniversary here, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The place is charming, high-end, historic, spiritual, restorative and cozy. the house goes back at least 500 years to the King of Spain, and you could make an argument that it was the first house in all of New Mexico! While keeping that historic charm, the owner also renovated it to feel new and luxurious, and the outdoor soaker tubs are... otherworldly. In fact, we soaked in those baths for several hours every day. Magical. Finally, I just want to thank the hosts for sensational hospitality. Thank you for everything you did to make our 10 years feel extra special.
